Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Muswellbrook South Public School Parents & Citizens Association (P&C)

The Muswellbrook South Public School P&C is a vibrant community group dedicated to supporting our children’s education and enriching the school experience for all students. We work alongside the school to provide valuable resources, fundraising events, and extra-curricular opportunities that directly benefit our students.

We warmly welcome new members and volunteers! Whether you can contribute a little or a lot, your involvement helps shape the future of our school community. Joining the P&C is a fantastic way to stay informed, have your say in school decisions, and make a positive difference.

Volunteering opportunities include helping in the school canteen, assisting with school events, supporting fundraising activities, and participating in special projects. Our canteen especially appreciates more volunteers to help keep it running smoothly—kids love seeing parents, grandparents, and carers involved!

If you'd like to volunteer or learn more about becoming a member, please contact the school office or drop into the uniform shop on Mondays and Wednesdays between 9:30am and 12:00pm. Membership is just 50 cents and grants you the right to vote on important matters.

P&C meetings

P&C Meetings are held monthly, usually on the third Tuesday, in the school library. New members always welcome; 50c membership fee to vote at meetings.

Volunteer at our school

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• helping in the canteen
• getting involved in the P&C.
• listening to children read in the classroom
• volunteering on sports days and other school events
• helping supervise excursions.
